New garden today near Punta Prima beach on the eastern coast of the island. We had a fantastic Paella at Ca'n Santi restaurant with Menorcan friends. Lovely place, fab food and friendly staff. Punta Prima has so much life that we have not seen at any other resort since we have been here, in Menorca. Lots of locals and people coming from all over the island to eat and be near the beach. Also a lovely helpful pharmacy that is is open all year too and where we go to get any medications we need as the pharmacist's speak English and always helpful. Everyone out and about in masks and social distances observed. Lovely to see some life and people enjoying the fresh air and sun safely. They've closed the road along by the restaurants and nice to see kids are out playing, laughing and having fun in the street safely whilst parents enjoy lunch out. A great atmosphere without cars to sit outside and eat. Tonight are garden is the car park. Noisy music and the youth playing football but so nice to see them having a life and not just hanging out around the streets. Playing a sport, keeping healthy and safe. Makes the world seem a little more normal hearing laughter and life of the younger ones enjoying themselves. Curfew is 10pm still so we know its always going to be quiet at night.
