🎉 6th Vaniversary! 6 years ago we got ourselves a loan and bought Florry. Thought it a good time to say hello to new followers and tell our story again for those who done know it already.

👫We're Cat and Chris, just your average middle-aged humans, on an adventure with our gorgeous chocolate Labrador, Rolo. 25 years of part time vanlife and now into our 5th year full time which is completely different to part time.

🚛Our van life began converting our lorry after a Menorca dive trip 7 years ago when we went for a beer with a fellow scuba diver here in Menorca who lives in a lorry. We were inspired by her lorry and life. Six years ago we bought ourselves our 2012 DAF LF45. After over a year of blood, sweat and many many tears we moved in full time and she became our home and travels commenced.

🙏We left London for a simpler life, embraced remote work, and drove into van life reality. We were in loads of newspapers, radio and TV as at the time it was a little unusual thing to do but I Cat did it over 25 years ago in NZ with two little ones for a year, so it wasn't something new to me. Now it's much more accepted and many are taking the leap to full time vanlife so we try to inspire but with the reality.

🤿Scuba diving passion led us to explore Europe. In our 5th year, we are back in Menorca living a simple life, cherishing memories and remote work. Menorca is a home that I Cat, have known for over 50 years as my father had a home here. Always had a connection here and Chris fell in love too.

🚛Life in Florry has its ups and downs and it's not always perfect, but it beats the stress of city life for sure. Florry has become our haven. Along the way, we've made lasting connections, met incredible people who have inspired us and we're incredibly grateful for the support from all of you and our family and friends.
